The pray of the humming bird

The pray of the humming bird

Lonely as I was,
My thougths were all I could hear
Through the wild, though
The sounds of heaven
Were also calling me
It was deafening, the silence
The silence of a hundred claws
Crawling on the surface of my skin
And all over my mind
But suddenly, a terrifying noise
Dark wings flapping,
Slaping me on the face
Like it was not terrifying at all
It was only the sound
Of the pray of the humming bird
Begging for my weak, naked soul
While the rain comes to wash
The solitude of both our hearts
Down by the river,
The humming bird was all I had
The fear and the courage
Were all mixed in my head
But a pray sung in the forest
Remains forever
As the humming Bird
Would at any moment
Be only dead
